| Company History
Cambridge Theranostics Ltd. was founded in 2002 as a spin-off from Cambridge University. The company identified AtheroAbzymes, a novel drug target that is involved in the oxidation of lipids, leading to atherosclerosis.
This discovery provided CTL with a proprietary drug screen and also led to the development of a new specific diagnostic test for active atherosclerosis. CTL has obtained the CE Mark for this test and began to sell it in 2007. Using it's proprietary drug screen, CTL has identified Ateronon®/TM as a potent bioavaliable and safe inhibitor of the peroxidation process.
CTL has clinical research partners in the UK, Russia, USA and Europe and works with major corporations to develop, manufacture and market it products. |
